My first WOD post on my new blog, for any new readers here that are looking for my Before/After pictures, see my first post below, or visit my “About” page to read my story.
3 rounds for time of:
50 Squats
7 Muscle-ups
135 pound Hang power cleans, 10 reps
So. The biggest problem with this WOD was the fact that I can’t do a Muscle-up yet. Even if I could, there is no place to hang my rings in my Globo to acomplish them. So, off to the old substitute. 3 Pullups and 3 Dips per 1 Muscle-up.
Second problem. I racked up 135# and tryed 1 HPC. Now I can do them but 10 in a row without putting the bar down? Again people, strategize. What is the prescribed WOD? Scale the WEIGHTS as required, NOT THE EXCERCISE. The Excercise is 10 Reps, not 5 reps, put the bar down take a break and do 5 more, strategy and form were more important to me that the weight. I sucked up my pride and lowered the weight to 115# and go to it!
I should also mention that if I can’t do the WOD as RX’d that I don’t post my time. I find that comparing my Non-Rx’d time to others defeats the purpose of timing. I do, however, do my workouts for time and go as fast as I can, you just won’t see them posted here unless I RX a workout.
First Round all 50 Squats were without stopping, last 2 rounds were broken into 2 sets each, the 3 pullups~3dips per MU went slowly, but steady and all 10 HPC done with proper form and without putting the bar down.
Finished the WOD off with 38 Burpees for my Burpee challenge. Arn’t these supposed to be getting easier? Doesn’t seem so!

Nice job with this one. I’m going to hit it in a few days, and it looks tough - never done Nasty Girls before. Thanks for the comment on my blog and for the heads up on your new site. I’m subscribed.
